Direction (Q. 1-5): Each of the questions below consists of a question and two statements numbered I and II given below it. You have to decide whether the data given in the statements are sufficient to answer the questions. Read both the statements and given answer-

Direction (Q9-10): Study the information and answer the question given below: Five friends Rahul, Suraj, Jasmine, Lalit and Maria wears different colours of Suites, Viz. - Silver, Blue, Grey, White and Pink (not necessarily in the same order). Each friend has different colour of tie viz. Red, Brow n, Yellow, Black and Golden. Suraj, who has golden colour tie, is not in blue suit. Jasmine is in pink suit but her tie colour is not red and yellow. Maria has brown coloured tie but she is neither in blue nor in white suit, Lalit has yellow coloured tie. Rahul do not wear blue or silver colour suit. One who wears grey suit have red coloured tie.

9. What is the colour of Lalit 's suit?
1)  Pink 2)  Blue 3)  White 4)  Silver 5) None of these

10. Which person has black colour tie?

1.5; ∴ From statement I < -- We get, Vidya < --  Sunil  < --  Aamir < --  Salman So, I alone is not sufficient.
∴ From statement II – we get, Priyanka is not first to take the award. So, II alone is not sufficient. From I and II,l we get, Vidya is the first to take the award. Both I and II together are necessary.

Hence, Atul is son of Arun. Thus, I alone is sufficient.
From Statement (II),
Nothing is mention about Atul, Thus, we can’t find
relationship. Hence. II alone is not sufficient.

We can’t find the code for summer.
From Statement II,
Coolest summer ever – > li ga na ................ (iii)
Hotest month of this summer  – >  re jo hi yo li .......... (iv)
From iii & iv we get, summer  – >  li
Thus, II alone is sufficient.

5.4; From statement I,
R  – >  P ........................
Hence,  we  cannot  find  who  the  lightest.  Thus,
statement I alone is not sufficient.
From Statement II,
R – >  P – > Q – > __ – > ___
Thus, neither statement I nor II is sufficient.
